My Daily Routine Habits to Feel Good

As a woman, juggling with work, children and every day responsibilities , it can all become too demanding. Daily routines create structure and balance in your life, helping to eliminate stress and obsticals that can make life overwhelming. Maintaining control with a well structured routine which, over time you have found that works best for you keeps balance in your life. Staying energised, productive and emotionally grounded feeds your body, mind and emotions, creating a more stable peaceful and happy life.
We are all looking for a magic cure so by sharing my journey with you, hopefully I will help inspire and motivate you for a more fulfilling life, while not loosing ourselves in the chaos !

1) MORNING HYDRATION

ginger tea with honey

Before you reach for anything else, hydrate your body with green tea, lemon water or a green smoothie to boost digestion and detoxify the body after sleep.

2) SKINCARE ROUTINE

Stick to a skincare routine morning and night. When your skin fells fresh, so will you. Vitamin toners followed by your moisturiser will set you off feeling beautiful for the day.

3) GRATITUDE PRACTICE

This, I must admit, for me is actually the top most important ritual of the day. Sometimes this comes before my skincare routine and also I try to incorporate it during any spare time I may have during the day, while driving, on the bus or on a lunch break. Almost every morning I specifically sit looking out of the window with my tea and take a few moments to reflect what I am grateful for. Here I recite my affirmations, meditate and visualise. Finding your peaceful quiet space to do this is essential. Promote self love, positivity and inner peace, preparing yourself for any negative emotions and staying in control of your thoughts and actions for what the day may bring.

4) NUTRITIOUS EATING

NUTRITIOUS EATING

Focusing on balanced meals whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner, choose whole foods, proteins and fresh fruit and vegetables. What you put into your body will show inside and out. Avoid Fast food, energy drinks, unhealthy fats and processed foods which will impact your health, energy levels and well being.

5) MOVEMENT AND EXERCISE

Whether you choose yoga, a short walk or have time fot the gym, regular daily exercise strengthens the heart, improves circulation, enhances oxygen to the muscles, helps maintain your weight and so much more.
The benefits are remarkable and is a powerful tool for prevention, healing and transformation.
So start today !

6) PRIORITISING SLEEP

Sleep is important for overall health, wellbeing and daily functioning. From collagen production and immune strengthening, a good night’s sleep increases your productivity, regulates your moods and allows muscles and tissues to repair and grow. A comfortable bed with the right mattress and pillow is essential. Take a bath, drink herbal tea, and read or meditate will all promote relaxation.

Sweet dreams…
