Glow While You Sleep: The Perfect Night Skin Care Routine

There’s something so soothing about my nighttime skincare routine. After a long day, it’s my way of unwinding, resetting, and giving my skin all the love it deserves. Over the years, I’ve tried countless products and methods, and after lots of trial and error, I’ve finally found a routine that makes my skin feel amazing by morning. Step 1: Remove Makeup & Cleanse

I never, ever go to bed with makeup on—no matter how exhausted I am! I start with a cleansing balm or micellar water to melt away makeup, sunscreen, and any buildup from the day. Then, I follow up with a gentle foaming cleanser to make sure my skin is totally clean. Double cleansing has seriously transformed my skin, keeping it clear and fresh.

Step 2: Gentle Exfoliation (2-3 Times a Week)

Exfoliating is my secret weapon for glowing skin. I don’t do this every night, but when I do, I alternate between a mild chemical exfoliant (like glycolic acid) and a gentle physical scrub. This step helps remove dead skin cells, leaving my skin soft and smooth. Over-exfoliating used to be my biggest mistake, but now that I’ve found the right balance, my skin loves it!

Step 3: Hydrating Toner or Essence

Step 5: Eye Cream to Hydrate & Brighten

I used to think eye cream was unnecessary… until I started noticing fine lines. Now, I pat on a lightweight eye cream with caffeine to de-puff and brighten my under-eyes. Some nights, I even pop on eye patches for an extra treat!
